What's the Difference Between an LMS and a CMS
A learning management system (LMS) is different from a content management system (CMS) in many ways. simply put, a CMS is a software program which is used for organizing and managing computer files by date created, date modified, name of the file, type of file, and other metadata depending on the system. It's a lot like a computer's file management software but more feature rich and powerful. Although an LMS does have many of these same features, an LMS is different in that it is organized into classes which have rosters and its features include various assessments, and a gradebook.
