Web developers come in many flavors as well, front-end developers, back-end developers, database developers, full-stack developers, and others. Web developers use source code editors as their tools of the trade and use languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, C#, Python and frameworks like ASP.NET, Django, Rails, Spring, Angular, React, Vue, and others to mold the Web into usefull applications.
The point is, there are a lot of pieces to the Web development puzzle and it can be very rewarding for those who make the effort to decipher it all and learn the craft well. It can provide you with a sense of accomplishment like no other. That's not to say it's all fun an games, it's not, and it can be very frustrating at times. Just like any other art form it can bring about pleasure and amazement for all who witness the completed puzzle.
