The mission of the Learning Resource Center is to maintain a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where all MSJC students can become aware of and achieve their specific academic goals and commitment to lifelong learning through diverse and active learning experiences and collaboration with peers, tutors, and faculty.

It is the mission of Academic Technology Services to provide, repair, and maintain instructional technology that directly supports students; organize instructional technology settings and events; collaborate, communicate and guide faculty and staff to enhance learning outcomes using instructional technology.

Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) is a student services program that assists students with disabilities in gaining maximum access to college curriculum and programs while attaining their academic, vocational and personal goals in a mainstreamed setting. Students may be referred to DSPS by instructors, counselors, community agencies, high schools, a parent, or by self-referral. They are eligible for appropriate and reasonable accommodations and support services upon completion of an application, verification of the disability, and an intake interview in DSPS.

Mt. San Jacinto College Campus Safety Department, in conjunction with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, is committed to the safety and security of all students, staff, and faculty attending or visiting Mt. San Jacinto College.

Canvas Student Guides are a collection of tutorials designed to assist students with the Canvas Learning Management System.

The mission of the Mt. San Jacinto College, Counseling Department is to facilitate proactive planning for student success, leadership, and life-long learning through academic, career, transfer, personal, and crisis counseling. Counselors and staff advocate, educate, guide, and empower students’ intellectual and social development within an educational and multicultural environment. 

The Dual Enrollment Program allows qualified high school students to earn college and high school credits at the same time. Students can take Dual Enrollment courses in Career Technical Education or as an alternative to Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate classes. In addition to saving time and money, students participating in the Dual Enrollment program will have an easier transition to college and will be more prepared for the rigors of college level studies once they are finished with high school.

The Enrollment Services Office provides numerous services to students and members of the community. General information about the college is provided. Petitions to enter class late, transcripts, credit by examination and enrollment verification are all initiated in this office. Student academic records, courses taken, units attempted, units earned, grades, grade points, graduation date and other data are maintained in this office.

The Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) was established as a result of Assembly Bill 164 passed by the California Legislature in 1969 to increase the enrollment of educationally disadvantaged and low-income students on community college campuses.

While Mt. San Jacinto College subscribes to and supports the philosophy that primary responsibility for funding college expenses rests with students and their families, the college recognizes that some students and/or their families have limited financial resources and are unable to meet all of the expenses associated with higher education without supplemental assistance. The MSJC First Year Experience (FYE) Program will give you an enhanced college experience during your first two semesters. At the end of your first year, you will have successfully completed your basic skills coursework and will have taken transferable college level courses that contribute to your degree. While completing this coursework with MSJC's premier faculty, you will have access to enhanced support designed to make sure you successfully complete your first two semesters at your full potential while enjoying the college experience.

Benefits for Honors Enrichment Program students include close interactions between students in the program and professors, challenging courses with fellow honors students, the exploration of current issues in the interdisciplinary seminar, and specific guidance from counselors and faculty advisers concerning the course of studies most suitable for transferring to a four-year university and for achieving professional objectives.

CARES - Campus Assessment, Response, Evaluation, and Support. The MSJC CARES Team is a multi disciplinary team made up of members of the MSJC college community. Many of the team members have years of experience and training in helping people with a variety of problems. 

The MSJC Library's mission is to connect the students, faculty, and community of the MSJC campuses to a world of information, with enthusiasm and professionalism, in a welcoming environment conducive to academic research and study, and to provide a comprehensive and current collection of materials in a variety of formats to support the MSJC curriculum.

The Puente Project is an academic, counseling, and leadership program that prepares students to succeed in the university environment. The course curriculum and content is multi-cultural, emphasizing Mexican-American/Latino experiences and literature. The students visit university and college campuses. The program starts every fall and runs through the spring semester. All MSJC students are invited to participate in DESTINO.

Mt. San Jacinto College is fully approved for the training of students under the various government educational programs for veterans and eligible dependents of deceased or disabled veterans.
