Overview

Gmail is the email service provided by Google.  As of 2019, it had 1.5 billion active users worldwide, making it the largest email service in the world. Once you setup a Gmail address you can also send and receive emails using other email software applications that support the POP and IMAP protocols like Microsoft Outlook.

The Gmail GUI is a Web-based and App-based software application for sending and receiving emails.
